MEETING MINUTES
For February 20, 2019
I. CALL TO ORDER: Jim Carlson called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. at the Latah Community Center. Commissioners present at the meeting were: Carlson and Tom Pottratz. Also present was Kynda Browning, Secretary, Cindy Carlson, EMS Director, Josh Evans, Chief and Dave Krell.
II. APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES: The minutes from the January 10, 2018 commissioner meeting were presented. Tom Pottratz made a motion to approve the commissioner meeting minutes as amended. Jim Carlson seconded the motion; all commissioners voted yes.
III. PRESENTATION OF PETITIONS, APPLICATIONS, APPEALS, COMMUNICATIONS, ETC: Appoint new commissioner: After discussion, Jim Carlson made a motion to appoint Dave Krell as the new commissioner to take Charlie Johnson’s vacant position. Tom Pottratz seconded the motion; all commissioners voted yes.
After discussion, Tom Pottratz made a motion to appoint Jim Carlson as the Chairman. Dave Krell seconded the motion; all commissioners voted yes.
IV. REPORTS FROM STAFF: There were none.
V. OLD BUSINESS:
A. AIRPACKS: Josh Evans talked to the commissioners about purchasing airpacks from Allen Curtis. After discussion, Jim Carlson made a motion to purchase 14 of the used packs for $500 each and 14 bottles for $1135 each. Tom Pottratz seconded the motion; all commissioners voted yes.
B. TURNOUTS: They will discuss this at the next meeting.
VI. NEW BUSINESS:
VII. PRESENTATION OF VOUCHERS, WARRANTS, FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AND REPORTS: Payroll voucher numbers 22242, 22243, 22255, and 22256 totaling $2,059.59 and voucher numbers 22244 through 22254 and 22257 totaling $3,599.89 were presented to the Commissioners for approval. Tom Pottratz made a motion to approve the bills as presented. Dave Krell seconded the motion; all commissioners voted yes.
VIII. ADJOURNMENT: Tom Pottratz made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:30 p.m. Dave Krell seconded the motion; all commissioners voted yes.
