Spokane County Fire District No. 12 MEETING MINUTES For January 8, 2013
I. CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Gregg Wernz called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. at the Waverly Town Hall.Commissioners present at the meeting were: Wernz,and Ron Tee. Also present was Kynda Browning,
Secretary, Don Evans and Bill Tensfeld.
II. APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES: The minutes from the December 11, 2012 commissioner meeting were presented. Ron Tee made a motion to approve the December 11, 2012 commissioner meeting minutes as presented. Gregg Wernz seconded the motion; all commissioners voted yes.
III. PRESENTATION OF PETITIONS, APPLICATIONS, APPEALS, COMMUNICATIONS, ETC:
There were none.
IV. REPORTS FROM STAFF: There were none.
V. OLD BUSINESS:
A. FIRE STATION: There was no discussion.
B. CORY PITMAN PROPERTY: They will wait until Mr. Pitman contacts the district.
VI. NEW BUSINESS:
A. INFORMATION FROM BILL TENSFELD:The commissioners asked Bill Tensfeld to go over the information that he does on a monthly and yearly basis.
B. FIREMAN DINNER: Ron Tee made a motion to appoint Don Evans as the Fire Chief for the fire district.
Gregg Wernz seconded the motion; all commissioners voted yes.
Ron Tee made a motion to pay Don Evans $2,400.00 per year. Gregg Wernz seconded the motion; all commissioners voted yes.
VII. PRESENTATION OF VOUCHERS, WARRANTS, FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AND REPORTS: Payroll voucher numbers 21461 through 21463 and EFT IRS payments totaling $740.56 and voucher numbers 21464 through 21468 totaling $194.35 and vouchers numbers 21469 through 21471 totaling $6,556.80 were presented to the Commissioners for approval. Ron Tee made a motion to approve the vouchers as presented. Gregg Wernz seconded the motion; all commissioners voted yes.
VIII. ADJOURNMENT: Ron Tee made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:48 p.m. Gregg Wernz seconded
