Spokane County Fire District No. 12
MEETING MINUTES
For February 11, 2016
I. CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Gregg Wernz called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. at the Waverly Town Hall. Commissioners present at the meeting were: Wernz, Ron Tee, and Tom Pottratz. Also present was Kynda Browning, Secretary; and Don Evans, Fire Chief.
II. APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES: The minutes from the, January 14, 2016, commissioner meeting were presented. Ron Tee made a motion to approve the January 14, 2016, commissioner meeting minutes presented. Tom Pottratz seconded the motion; all commissioners voted yes.
III. PRESENTATION OF PETITIONS, APPLICATIONS, APPEALS, COMMUNICATIONS, ETC: There were none.
IV. REPORTS FROM STAFF:
Don Evans reported:
~He had to change the batteries in the engine again.
~Got 13 air bottles from General Fire and Worley Fire District.
~Said that EMT class is going good.
~Calls have been slow.
V. OLD BUSINESS:
A. DINNER FOR FIREMEN: Discussed the upcoming dinner.
Ron Tee said he talked to Dave Cornwall who is with Fire District No. 2 about joining with District No. 2 at some point.
Don Evans talked about getting the DNR rig from District 2 if they get a new truck.
VI. NEW BUSINESS:
A. MARCH MEETING DATE: The meeting will be held on March 22, 2016.
VII. PRESENTATION OF VOUCHERS, WARRANTS, FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AND REPORTS: Payroll voucher numbers 21838 through 21839 totaling $456.36 and voucher numbers 21840 through 21844 totaling $1,962.91 totaling $3,033.04 were presented to the Commissioners for approval. Ron Tee made a motion to approve the bills as presented. Tom Pottratz seconded the motion; all commissioners voted yes.
VIII. ADJOURNMENT: Ron Tee made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:18 p.m. Tom Pottratz seconded the motion; all commissioners voted yes.
