MEETING MINUTES
For March 22, 2016
I. CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Gregg Wernz called the meeting to order at 7:00 a.m. at the Waverly Town Hall. Commissioners present at the meeting were: Wernz, and Ron Tee. Also present was Kynda Browning, Secretary; and Don Evans, Fire Chief.
II. APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES: The minutes from the, February 11, 2016, commissioner meeting were presented. Ron Tee made a motion to approve the February 11, 2016, commissioner meeting minutes presented. Gregg Wernz seconded the motion; all commissioners voted yes.
III. PRESENTATION OF PETITIONS, APPLICATIONS, APPEALS, COMMUNICATIONS, ETC: There were none.
IV. REPORTS FROM STAFF:
Don Evans reported:
~EMT's have to take national test - but they are done with their class.
~Eric Olson would like to have a dinner for the EMT's.
~If anyone needs a burn permit - they need to call Don.
~He would like to order one used airpack with an air bottle to make sure it is what we want.
~Repaired pump on brush 12-2. Need to get a tune-up for rescue 12-2.
V. OLD BUSINESS:
A. POLICY MANUAL: This will be updated at the April meeting.
B. APRIL MEETING:The meeting will be changed to Thursday, April 7th at 7:00 p.m.
VII. PRESENTATION OF VOUCHERS, WARRANTS, FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AND REPORTS: Payroll voucher numbers 21845 through 21846 totaling $456.36 and voucher numbers 21847 through 21856 totaling $2,452.44 were presented to the Commissioners for approval. Ron Tee made a motion to approve the bills as presented. Gregg Wernz seconded the motion; all commissioners voted yes.
VIII. ADJOURNMENT: Ron Tee made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:40 p.m. Gregg Wernz seconded the motion; all commissioners voted yes.
